According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of 2022, there are an estimated 14,400 audiologists in the US. That number is projected to increase to 15,900 by 2032, which is an 11% increase. This is a higher-than-average growth rate compared to all other occupations. Considering health problems are prevalent in older age groups, the aging baby boomer population will have their audiology needs increase, therefore increasing demand for audiologists.
